Symantec Ghost Boot Wizard Download: tout ce que vous devez savoir sur cet outil puissant

I have a disk image (ghost) of the disk need to be restored, and believe the ghost.exe should run from bootable USB with DOS, but I can't seem to create it. My laptop does not have a a cd-rom or floppy drive.I managed to find a Ghost utility that I could load from a bootable USB drive. Unfortunately, when I plug in my NTFS external drive (USB), it is not detected.

How about give it a try? First download and install it on your computer and then follow the steps below to create bootable USB as well as create image backup. Please remember to backup your USB drive in advance, because it will erase all the data.

Now you have created a bootable USB that can help boot your computer, then you can create system image or other backup types according to your needs. Just choose one backup option and follow the wizard to make it. Besides, you can set scheduled backup to make it auto run daily/weekly/monthly.

Hi. My company's support just ended in 2015 yet I am in need of the updated boot wizard to image a batch of new machines. Could anyone that has received the wizard please send it my way? Much appreciated if so! thowellgm@gmail.com

You can create the image, using Windows PE with ImageX, or SymantecGhost tools. Windows PE Tools Command Prompt helps create a bootable WinPE image with automated generation of a wim-file whereas using Symantec Ghost\Ghost Boot Wizard, you can create a bootable Ghost image, automatically generating a ghost-file. Each of these images can be used for further delivery on target devices.

It refers to backing up your Windows, files, disk or partition to an image file. During the backup process, the backup source is compressed by the ghost image software. Once an accident happens to your computer such as system crash, Windows unable to boot after updates, drive failure, etc. you can only restore the image through the original software.

Hello,We are experiencing the same issues with our hardware Dell Optiplex 9020 and Dell Latitude 6540, both having NIC cards Intel I217 LM. The windows PE we are using is 64 bit version 2.0. We are using Symantec Ghost boot wizard to add the drivers in the Winpe image but it does not work. I have already tried all the methods mentioned in this thread to solve this problem and also other methods on the internet.

When the restore is complete the Hardware and Recover logs can be reviewed as shown in below screenshot. There arevarious other logs created as well. If any failure is encountered these logs can be viewed by not selecting restart the computer, click Finish andcheck them from the utilities tab. If restore completed fine, select the checkbox to reboot and finish out from this wizard. When the system reboots it will complete recovery and the system is fully restored and ready to login.

You can then determine how you will want Ghost to access your network. Typically DHCP will be sufficient to provide access to your network, but in certain cases you may want to segregate your ghost traffic, or just isolate it to range of IP addresses for monitoring. If either of those is the case, you can set a static IP address for any client booted to this Ghost boot disk to use. Be careful though, as you do not assign the same IP to multiple boot disks, as this can lead to issues of the same IP address being active by multiple devices on your network, and will cause your disk imaging to fail.
